From clerical work to kennel helpers, there are all kinds of ways to volunteer at the shelter! We treasure our volunteers and would love to have you join us today. Help assist with a variety of tasks around the shelter to help us clean, organize, and care for the animals. At discretion of staff that day, tasks can include, helping clean dog kennels and cats area, sweeping and mopping floors, dishes, and laundry are all common. All ages welcomed: 14 and under need a parent or guardian present.

Our Date with a Dog program permits approved volunteers to come pick a dog up and take them out and about for a few hours. You can go for a walk, grab an ice cream, or go shopping at dog friendly stores. Not allowed to do meet and greets with other dogs. Has to be back to the shelter before 4pm, pick up starts as early as 10am. 18+ only.
